Mission Statement
“Work is love made visible.
And if you cannot work with love
But only with distaste,
It is better that you should leave your work
And sit at the gate of the temple
And take alms of those who work with joy.” Khalil Gibran |

I do love my work!
After more than 20 years of social work and counselling in different countries, workplaces, and with a huge variety of ‘life’s stepping stones’ I feel privileged each time a client allows me an insight into their personal area of potential growth.
- Openness, integrity, and honesty will direct everything I do for you and with you.
- I will not make decisions for you. I make suggestions, if you want.
- I am open to feedback and adjust my approach so that you can achieve your goal.
- I am not committed to one theoretical framework, but use elements of CBT
(Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), narrative work, systemic therapy, client centred approach and others.
- I will readily assist you with referrals if I am either not qualified for your specific issue, or you do not feel comfortable with me.
My qualifications and experiences are:
- Bachelor of Social Work and Social Pedagogic ( FH Nuremberg, Germany)
- Grad. Dip. Adolescent Health and Welfare (University of Melbourne)
- Master in Counselling (Monash University)
- Member of the Australian Counselling Association
- Experience as foster parent, parent and adoptive parent
- Working with clients of CALD background
- Counselling families and couples of (different) cultural background
(e.g. Australian and non-Australian partner)
- Supporting individuals experiencing: chronic illness (HIV/AIDS), grief and loss
